Through Dust-DN, an international team of scientists aims to bridge this knowledge gap by creating the first European doctoral network dedicated to the study of atmospheric mineral dust. This initiative combines expertise in the field with multidisciplinary approaches.<\/p>\n<p>The project, funded by the European Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks program with \u20ac3.5 million, received the highest rating in a highly competitive evaluation. It represents a strategic, international, and intersectoral alliance that brings together renowned partners to drive innovation in understanding the properties of atmospheric dust and predicting its socioeconomic impacts.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:cover {\"url\":\"https:\/\/www.create.uevora.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/saharandust-20240322.jpg\",\"id\":5284,\"hasParallax\":true,\"align\":\"full\"} -->\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover alignfull has-background-dim has-parallax\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/www.create.uevora.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/saharandust-20240322.jpg');\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container\"><!-- wp:paragraph {\"align\":\"center\",\"placeholder\":\"Write title\u2026\",\"textColor\":\"white\",\"fontSize\":\"large\"} -->\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-large-font-size has-white-color\">The first doctoral network on a European scale (to our knowledge), bringing together expertise on mineral dust in the atmosphere, combining multidisciplinary aspects.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- \/wp:cover -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The Dust-DN network will train a group of young scientists, offering them the opportunity to work within a network of academic and non-academic partners to address key research gaps.
